Browsing history and cookies are related to your search privacy. If you do not want to keep it on your Windows computer, you can delete them and release more space on the computer. In the article, you can learn 3 ways to delete browsing history and cookies.
If you are using only Microsoft Edge on your computer, you can easily clear browsing history, download history, cookies and other site data, cached images and files and passwords and etc. from the computer. After that, your privacy will not be known by others.
Step 1: Open the browser and hit the three dots on the top right corner. After that, choose the Settings from the drop-down menu.
Step 2: On Edge Settings interface, choose Privacy, search, and services on the left menu.
Step 3: On the right menu, click Choose what to clear button under Clear browsing data section.
Step 4: On Time ranger box, click the arrow and choose a time range.
Step 5: Choose the type of data you want to clear, such as browsing history and download history. After that, hit the Clear now button and all the selected data will be erased from your computer.
If the Internet Explorer mode has enabled, you can also delete all browsing history from Internet Explorer: Click Settings and more…> Settings> Privacy, search and service; choose Clear browsing data for Internet Explorer> Clear browsing data now > Choose what to clear; select the data you want to delete and hit the Delete button.
Step 1: Open Control Panel and then choose Network and Internet option..
Step 2: Click Delete browsing history and cookies on Internet Options.
Step 3: On Browsing history section, click the Delete button and then select the data. After that, hit the Delete button. After that, the browsing history and cookies are deleted from your computer.
Step 1: Turn on Local Group Policy Editor.
Step 2: Find and enable the setting named "Allow deleting browsing history on exit" in Computer Configuration and User Configuration.

1. Locate the setting in Computer Configuration (or User Configuration)/Administrative Templates/Windows Components/Internet Explorer/Delete Browsing History, and then double-click it.
